Part two of the first new episodes of the Will and Willie show for 2009 begins with an insightful look into the financial budget crisis in California. Willie Brown, just returned from Sacramento right before we sat down at the Flow Communications’ studio in San Francisco, and has strong opinions about what needs to be done. His perspective as the former Speaker of the California State Assembly includes an idea of how the legislatures can end the mess. Will Durst and Willie Brown also talk about the movies, the Oscars, and Producer Paul “The Lobster” Wells gets to do his Clint Eastwood impersonation with the quote from Grand Torino, “Get off my lawn!”

The first new episode of the Will and Willie show for 2009. In the words of Willie Brown, the world has changed since we last got together a week before the election. In the first of two parts, produced by Paul “Lobster” Wells at Flow Communications’ studio in San Francisco, Will Durst and Willie Brown talk about the new political landscape, their experiences at President Obama’s Inaugural in Washington, D.C. and some of their other favorite topics. Fans of the radio show will remember their Tuesday reviews of their favorite TV show, 24. The discussion takes a break when Will Durst has to go feed his parking meter!
