Will & Willie Radio Show July 2013

Saturday, July 13th, 2013

Political Comedian Will Durst, Political Icon Willie Brown and Producer Paul Wells, return to the “Tricast” on two San Francisco Talk Radio stations, streaming live on iHeart Radio and TV via internet channel MySourceTV.com, in addition to the Podcast.  Here’s the latest edited for the hour radio show, Segment 1 and Segment 2.  The trio touch on Asiana Airlines Flt 214, and how the crash could have been prevented by something SF Mayor Willie Brown advocated years ago.  The BART strike, Unions vs Management, Veterans Rights, Health Care, the idea of naming a San Francisco Bay Area landmark after Willie L. Brown, Jr., Snowden & the NSA, the America’s Cup, SF City College’s and more.  A lot to cover in an hour, and a lot of laughs!  The entertaining program on politics and life from the San Francisco point of view is brought to you in part by Lefty O’Doul’s Drink Mixes and recorded with a “studio” audience at The Gold Dust Lounge in San Francisco’s Fisherman’s Wharf.

WILL AND WILLIE SHOW MAY 28th, 2010 • PART TWO – The Propositions

Former San Francisco Mayor and Speaker of the California State Assembly Willie L. Brown Jr. and Political Comic Will Durst talk about the propositions on the ballot and share their considerable insight into the process. This is the part two of two parts of the conversation. There’s fun with the idea of a two-thirds majority imposed by various propositions only requiring a majority vote to pass. The Mayor’s idea of a court challenge would apply to the propositions in this election as well as the Proposition 13 property tax law passed in 1978.
